Every time you create a resolution, you decide to change your life. It shows that you want to make a lasting change rather than a temporary adjustment.
Resolutions only work if you create new habits to make them stick. For example, if you want to eat healthier but always have junk food for dinner, then you have to change this bad habit and make your own meals.
