Using fancy thumbnails won’t increase views πŸ™ˆ

Hey sultana,

I originally planned on writing an email today about how to get into YouTube's Partnership Program...

...however, I can't help but think about a conversation I recently had with a client.

It was with a really passionate guy in the fitness space. He was looking to drive traffic to his membership through his YouTube videos.

Before launching this idea, he bought an online program for $147 (what's with these courses and the number 7?).

Can you guess what this program was about?

It was on how to use fancy-pantsy thumbnails to bring in massive views…😑

Now of course thumbnails are a necessary component before releasing your videos out into the wild, but here's what a program like that won't teach you.

**But before we get into that, I want to rant a little about "online courses on thumbnails."

Usually, the pitch for courses like that goes something like this:

What's the first thing people see before they click your video?

Your thumbnail.

But literally, EVERYONE who ever watched a YouTube video knows this.

So why take a course on it?...**

Here's what else that fancy course didn't tell my client:

–> Approximately 20% of the people who start your video will leave anyways after the first 10 seconds.

This is a fact.

It doesn't matter how pretty your thumbnail is; viewers will leave if your intro isn't bangin'. And viewers determine great content based on engagement from your audience and the objective value they get from it.

But even worse than that; no one is seeing your thumbnail in the first place, because YouTube is not organically showing your video! Your video is buried alive (R.I.P.) by the billions of other videos posted on YouTube.

It's like having a beautiful Lamborghini but never driving it, or traveling to Hawaii but never leaving your hotel.

What's the point?

Needless to say the membership program my client created to help people fell flat.

And I felt his pain.

Eventually, Sprizzy was able to turn things around, but I imagine there are other passionate people out there chasing after pretty thumbnails.

So here's how we get results.

We put your video directly in front of your target audience, which boosts your views and subscribers.

It's as simple as that.

Show your video to your audience now »

You got this,
