Capital Gazette shooting suspect Jarrod Ramos denied bail; police say he planned attack

  Judge Thomas Pryal said Friday that he found a likelihood that 38-year-old Jarrod W. Ramos is a danger and ordered him to remain in jail. Anne Arundel County Police Chief Timothy Altomare said police are still accumulating evidence from the suspect's car found near the scene of the shooting and his Laurel, Maryland, apartment. Police said they found planning materials for the attack, along with a pump-action shotgun but not a manifesto explaining his reasons.
