Roseanne Barr apologizes on Twitter after ABC cancels show, blames racist tweet on Ambien

  The ABC star returned to Twitter hours after her racist tweet about former Obama White House adviser Valerie Jarrett led to the cancellation of her hit show 'Roseanne.' In a bizarre series of late-night tweets, Barr apologized to colleagues who lost their jobs due to the show's cancellation and offered an explanation as to what caused her to tweet. "It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible," Barr tweeted. "I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but...don't defend it please. ty."
