Republican Sen. Bob Corker has decided not to seek re-election after reconsidering an earlier decision not to run

  The Tennessee Republican had previously announced that he would not seek a third term. But he began to reconsider after some Republicans grew concerned that they could lose the seat to former Democratic Gov. Phil Bredesen. Corker is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and has clashed with President Trump at times.
