Prayers for the Buckeyes

Run. Hide. Fight. Those are terrifying words to hear, and that's what Ohio State University students were told Monday when they came under attack. A man crashed his vehicle into pedestrians on the Ohio State campus in Columbus, then slashed students with a butcher knife  before being fatally shot by a university police officer. Nine people were rushed to hospitals, and one was in critical condition. Asked at a news conference whether authorities were considering the possibility it was a terrorist act, Columbus Police Chief Kim Jacobs said: "I think we have to consider that it is." The suspect was identified as Abdul Razak Ali Artan, a 20-year-old from Somalia studying at the university. In recent months, federal law enforcement officials have raised concerns about online extremist propaganda that encourages knife and car attacks, which are easier to pull off than bombings.

Jill Stein cruelly rekindling Clinton voters' hopes

Like the villain in a bad horror movie, the 2016 election just won't stop. The contest that haunted the nation for more than a year goes on thanks to recount requests from Green Party candidate Jill Stein. She's already filed for a presidential vote recount in Wisconsin and plans to do the same in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Donald Trump called the effort a "scam" and went on a tweet storm after the Hillary Clinton campaign announced it would  participate in the Wisconsin recount in which he alleged — without evidence — that Clinton received millions of illegal votes. But fear not deplorables, even if a recount is initiated in all three states, the odds of the vote changing in any one of them are slim to none — and Clinton would need to flip the result in all three to wrest the needed electoral votes from Trump.

Because the mall is overrated

If you were still in full turkey corpse pose on Black Friday, Cyber Monday is a chance to redeem yourself. OK, it's actually a chance to participate in a disgusting display of American consumerism, but it can feel pretty euphoric, so you will find NO JUDGMENT HERE. Retailers roll out thousands of sales on the shopping holiday, some lasting hours, others just a few minutes. Let us help you sift through the madness.  Highlights include: $139.99 Amazon Echo, $399 Vizio 55" 4K UHD TV and a $99.99 Kindle Paperwhite. Stay safe out there.

Royal bros stick together

Forget royal tradition, Princes William and Harry are putting bros before media woes. Royals don't typically comment on their private lives, but there's been enough of a stir around Harry's new girlfriend that the two decided they couldn't keep quiet. In October, Harry released a statement confirming he was in a relationship with American actress Meghan Markle. He asked the press to exercise restraint in covering her after she was hit with a wave of racist and sexist abuse online. On Monday, William released his own statement saying he totally supports his little bro's request for privacy. Now, if we could just get a pic of that royal fist pump.

The chase for the College Football Playoff is down to the wire

The landscape in college football was shaken on the penultimate weekend of the season. When the dust settled after Ohio State's dramatic defeat of Michigan, along with other results, only four teams in the Top 25 kept the same spot in the NCAA Re-Rank . The top three — Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson — are staying put. Washington and Colorado made significant moves up the rankings. The College Football Playoff contenders have just one more opportunity to impress the committee before the field of four is set Sunday.
